1. Senior Citizen’s Club

Any citizen aged 65 or above who visit Al Salam Specialist Hospital for any reason will given a free membership in the Senior Citizens Health care
Seniors will be given a membership card that allow them to get discounts on services provided by the hospital for out and inpatient’s settings including special rates of admissions, consultations (full time doctors), labs and radiology and other medical therapeutic and investigative services.

2. Geriatrics Clinic

Will be operated by consultant in geriatric medicine.
Treatment of all acute illnesses for elderly and medical emergency.
Treatment of special health problems of the geriatric age group e.g., osteoporosis, dementia, depression, incontinence, delirium, frailty and others.
Treatment of all carried medical problems from middle age e.g. Diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and all other chronic illnesses.
Comprehensive health assessment for all seniors as outpatient including labs and radiological assessment for early detection of common health problems in a very special rates.
Collaborate with all other subspecialties for diagnostic and therapeutic services as out and inpatients’ services.

3. Memory clinic

With new concept of collaboration between the neurology and the geriatrics services providing comprehensive assessment of all cognitive and behavioural problems and offering the optimal management of such cases.
The patient will be assessed in one clinic by 2 consultants (Neurology and geriatrics)
The patient’s assessment and investigation will be done and reviewed by both consultants
A plan of management will be decided by both and the follow up will be done in both clinics as well.
